One thing I wish Simms would copy Patagonia's cuffs, the current cuffs are only so-so.

Have you looked at the cuff style on the Simms guide jacket?

Not the new one, but the old one had neoprene which absorbs water.

which old one are you talking about ?

I wear a G4 guide and have dunked my arm into the water and not a drop past the cuff barrier unless i leave my arm submerged to long which would happen with any jacket im sure. I always hated the puddle in th elbow i got from cheaper jackets while fly fishing, i do not get this with my Simms coat.

The only complaint I have on the waders is it only has 2 belt loops for the wading belt on the front hips it would be nice if they would put a 3rd on the back.

Other than that though compared to my old gear which was Bare neoprenes and a pvc Angler jacket. These are awesome and worth every penny. I can stay warm and dry wading all day even in the worst windy rain and snow we've had recently.

i think there should be 5 belt loops to keep it from sliding up or down while walking, bending,or  climbing. my waders only have 1 at the back and my belt slides up the sides enough to irritate me some days.

5 loops: 1middle of back, 2 just behind you along your sides but not directly on your sides and then 2 more infront where they are on jeans. this would make for a belt that doesnt move around at all.

sounds perfect but why dont they put those on the cheaper waders so those of us that cant justify paying those rediculous prices.

HOOK - wont buy waders over $250, owned Bare and Simms and both leaked very quickly  >:(

::) The amount of time you spend on the flow, It amazes me that water has time to leak in your waders. "Internet angler of the year". Miss you on the other site. LOL.

i just recently got simms headwaters, nice waders. A trick i use is to wear thermal heat socks from marks work ware house, there really warm and soft.
