Sockeye numbers
« on: August 19, 2011, 07:37:29 AM »

Fellas, anyone care to comment on whether the fishing for Sockeye is still touch and go or improving? Don't feel like hauling my boat all the way to Chilliwack and find the river "empty".

Took a few hours for group to get our fish last night but apparently yesterday morning was good.  The night before was good, even landed a couple springs.

I was out yesterday and it took me 6 hours to get my limit! I don't know what happened to the fish but I think it must be the 'shadow' from the commercial opening the other day. There was a few fish caught around me, but not like it was last weekend; there were fish being pulled out everyinite on monday! Maybe the run is slowing down + the commercial guys
