Portable fishfinder???

OK I'm looking to buy one for a 12' cartopper.
What's best? the suction cups or the long transducer?.What brand names ?
Any and all info is appreciated

Humminbird sells several different portable models. IMO I like the suction cup mounts the best. You can pack them in and out with ease.

I attached my transducer to a 2x4 then use clamp to put it on back of boat.

i heard you can get a package that will place the transducer on your electric trolling motor? is this used for a permanent situation? thanks in advance guys
