Thanks for this post Greg.  Of course this is valuable stuff and Thompson steelhead are indeed special ...many of us oldtimers remember the glory days of the 70's and 80's.  Doubt we will see them again but hey, wtf, after this years late run of sockeye anything goes. :)
Please keep FWR updated.

Thanks for this latest update.  Robert Bison made the correct call, IMO. Sad times for Thompson steelhead :(

Bison's basically just the messenger although he compiles the data. The open/close decision would have been made by the section head in Kamloops and Victoria.

Kinda feel like someone ran over my dog.  :-[

Lets hope when we get rid of the present government a new government will put some effort into helping bring these fish back to a level that could allow some fishing to take place.

Unfortunatly they do not care about our wild fish stocks like they should, no need to list them as we all know what they are.

--We have Harry Lali... Fraser-Nicola and Kevin Krueger Kamloops -south thompson..  One from each of the existing parties so whom if either is the most outraged and promising to do something about this.. perhaps we should ask

--PS I'm not outraged about the closure just that there isn't enough fish thus a closure is required.
