Went down to Lacey, WA yesterday to pick up my Luna from Cabelas. Used it today and it worked great, landed lots of fish.

Was gonna do that for my 253, but after adding in the gas to drive there and back, it would have worked out the same. However, if you are buying a bunch of high dollar items at once, then it might be worth it.

I paid $250 for the 300. Also got a new pair of breathables, some braid and alot of things for my upcoming trip to the Columbia and some things for trout, so in the end it was worth it.

Athough I don't fish a abu, I was forced to use one when I had my lunas stolen. They are a decent reel for there price, they keep going like anyother reel if you keep it maintained. I'm a big cold weather fisherman and the small metal spool thumb clicks were the down side for me.
