well the hatchery has done a great job in my eyes, what about all the fish that was not recorded... i heard this year is going to be a banner year for the red springs and coho.. is there any truth to this rumor? or does some meat head just have a bad case of verbal diarrhea? and another quick question is there information on how much the natives harvested on the fraser? would be nice to know how that system works...

Based on the total number of fish caught, and the 4,950 interviews last year the average catch was 54.87 fish each.

Somebody must got 162 because I didn't have any the 3 days I was surveyed.
#'s seem fishy to me.

These numbers are very inflated. :o Some people with more knowledge than me have said the formula they use to arrive at the numbers is out of wack. :-\ This has been brought to the attention of FOC several times over the years. Don't feel bad about getting none in 3 trips  as I fished a lot and only landed 3 adult coho salmon. ::)

when you have guys camping out at tamahi etc flossing....those numbers are hardly surprising. 50 in one day is a bit of a stretch but i dont doubt guys are flossing 20 or 30 a day.
my buddy and I hooked 25 coho on roe in one day last year between us.
