This page outlines the number and amounts of grants and other transfers of goods or services made to individuals and organizations.

By my quick count, DFO gave away $44 million dollars in the first 3 months of 2009.

From the list it seems not much went to help wild fish.

Lots of non-information on that site. Any idea on how to tell what the grants were used for? General categories like used for First nation initiatives,Salmon farming and stream rehab or local hatchery. Some totals for those differant categories would help most get the gist where the money went.
