Springs and the lunar cycle?

Is there any correlation to a near full moon and the springs running up river? Or any salmon for that matter? Does it affect fishing success as it does in the ocean? I was trying to find some correlation in the historic Albion test set data and the lunar calender...it was a little thin. Anyway, any thoughts or opinions are welcome!!

IME all Salmon heading home  use the push of the tide against the current, easier to fish them then too for a while anyway depending where you are/what the cycle is like there.
