No we don't need to be politically correct,i grew up in Canada,my country,i am Canadian, and for many ,many decades wishing some one Merry Christmas and celebrating Christmas has allways been an integral part of our beliefs and way of life, just as saying the lords prayer and singing god save the queen while at elementary school used to be,if somebody doesn't believe in Christmas or easter etc, thats your choice and thats OK ,if people  choose not to participate thats fine but don't expect the great many Canadians that do celebrate Christmas to stop being who we are just so we don't offend others that don't have the same beliefs.

Merry Christmas to everyone ;D ;)

Maybe you don't Searun.  Not that I care anyways.  But many does.  Have you seen school materials lately?  I remembered back in school it was policeman, fireman and so forth.  But not anymore.  And how more and more written material is done in he/she not just single he or she would suffice.  That's called equality to some.  Mutliculturalism and freedom of religion is also important.  So when people just say Season's Greeting they're just going with the flow of the society and not living in stoneage.  If you want to go all the way back to start of Canada those First Nation members did not have Christmas.    ;)  :D  :D

So whatever people want to celebrate it's up to them.  No need to feel offended when someone say Happy Holidays, Season's Greetings and not Merry Christmas.

I know what you are saying BWI BWI,I work in a school so i see it and much more on a daily basis, there is nothing at all wrong with equality, there should be equal rights for you ,equal rights for me,equal rights for all,so instead of needlessly carrying  on any further i will utilize my equal rights and say Merry Christmas and good night and with any luck in the morning i will be able to catch the paper boy in the morning so i can give him his Christmas gift and maybe spread a little seasonal cheer, and if I'm real lucky maybe he will be humming a little cheerfull Christmas tune, say maybe ,away in a manger. ;D :D

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

If you don't celebrate it as a Religious Holiday.
Then celebrate it as a Canadian Tradition.  ;D ;D ;D
Cheers.
