Gravel extraction on the Fraser

I noticed on my way back from Kawkawa Lake today that gravel extraction on the Fraser is happening just downstream and across the river from Peter's Road by Laidlaw. They were out on the bar that you can drive out to in low water conditions.

They are working on 2 sites in this area.
