« on: October 08, 2006, 07:47:39 PM »

Never done it looking into doing it for chum and coho As for what to use, a 5oz triangle weight? Leader? 2 feet, 12 pound test? 1/0 hook? Rod? will my abu level wind do with a 10-20lbs rod work? I have tons of roe, and I have alot of tee spoon spinners.

Well, I am going out tomorrow, if you want to come out I will teach you all you need to know. ;) ;D  That is much easier than typing it all out.  The rod and reel will be fine, the roe is a must.  A 5oz pyramid may be a bit much, I use penny weights to 3 oz and 3 oz pyramids.  After that, all you need are 3 way swivels, about a 2 foot leader and a number 2 hook.  At least that is the size I use.  There is a quick lesson for you.  You will also need a rod holder, but a nicely trimmed branch seems to work ok. ;)
