well what a day bat snagger and i had on sunday
we cruised the upper section (toilet bowl ) saw a few fish
looked promising  :D
checked out the gravel path run saw a few more fish  ;D
now we are really excited
get down to the lower end  :o :o :o
no water launching the canoe across 20ft of mud is not fun  >:(
but thats ok the tide is rising thats why we came here
to hit the mouth on a rising tide looking for fresh fish ;)

according to the rumors we  recieved through the wine vine
sat was very good at the mouth  :o :o :o
as we paddled down we actually scrapped bottom a few times
turned the canoe around once to retrieve a 3/8ths ounce
gold hammered croc off an exposed log (hahahahahaha mine all mine)

get to the entrance and run into leadbelly
hes been there for awhile already, no use looking around for more gear  ;)
we anchor of shore and start casting , drifting, about the only thing we didnt do
was chuck  a few seal bombs,  ;D as there were a few of those swimin around
but after 4 hours of this and not seeing on single fish rise roll break the surface
my arms were getting tired, so i decided to head over to the log boombs for a break
while sitting there we noticed alot of small rises and splashes going on and after a quick peek
in the water well ive never seen so many white fish in one area at once  :o
so bat snagger grabs my small trout rod, i rig up a hand line and we put my roe to good use
well after an hour or so of this and 12 white fish in the bag we decide to head back up river
got back up to the launching area and did a little more drifting to no avail

it was a nice day to be out there and hand jigging for those white fish sure did train my spidey senses
for those coho when they arrive  ;)
but man oh man do we need some rain really bad, even hayward lake is down by afew feet

best part of the day was watching my bosses dog take him for a walk down a gravelly slope
but i shall say no more about that as he may actually read this  ;)
