Question....
Been years since I have bar fished and I have forgotten the basics...so a refresher please...

Main line to swivel...swivel to spreader...weight straight on to bottom of spreader???...leader length 24-36" or??....different from boat than from shore???

Main line to spreader. 3 Feet of leader to glow off spreader. Go even longer if fishing faster water. 12-18" piece of line off bottom of spreader to wedge weight. To make it even simpler go to your local tackle shop and they should carry pre rigged Fraser River Bar Rig's. They have a wire to attach your weight to and never tangle up.
