Sturgeon: the in's and out's
« on: July 09, 2006, 10:15:02 PM »

Hey guys/gals. Im just getting into sturgeon fishing. I have a few questions: If fishing dew worms do you just thread them on the hook? or our there other methods. Fishing from a boat do you cast it out the back so it is well away from the boat or just drop them off the back? What type of bottom are you looking for? Im mostly fishing from a boat. If someone would like to show me hows its done Pm me and we'll  hook up!! :) :)

Thanks Dan

Depending on the amount of course fish pecking at my bait i either just thread 3 dewies on the hook and then put a jensen egg on, or i do that followed by a wrapping of spider thread. If its really bad i put two worms in a roe sac and put that near then bend of the hook behind a few "loose" worms.
