Smelt along Sunshine Coast

Anyone tried smelt netting along Sunshine Coast?  Any success?  Thank you

no... but my wife is from powell river and when we drive thru the sunshine coast i have always thought about this...

i saw two person catching smelts at ambleside today.
about 20 smelt was caught per each person.
