Just wanted to find out what you guys think would be a good pontoon boat for around $500. I was thinking of a Trout Unlimited Colorado

If your from the lower Mainland check out Hubs sports...Go for the fishcat 8 or 9fter

I don't know the one you mention, but I'm liking my Buck's Bag (South Fork model).  It's 8' long and cost me about 520 US dollars about a month ago.  The people at My Fly Shop in Vancouver sold me on that brand when I bought some flies there last summer.

after askin' myself this same question a few months back , I agree with the info and advice I got then , Buy the best you can . Buying a cheaper brand is just not worth it if you intend to use it seriously and frequently , There is no comparison between the Fish cat Streamer XL and a Fish Cat 9 , for example . You will see and feel the difference , and it is well worth the extra money to go with the higher end model(s) .
Good luck , and if I were you , I would wait for End of season sales , or Beginning of season sales - I saved 25% on my Fish cat9 , alluminium frame , pontoon when Hubs had there sale .

Bone, looks like a decent boat but it seems a little heavy. I've been shopping around latley for a new 'toon and I think the Creek Co. ODC 816 looks like a good option and it weighs in at a much more reasonable 45lbs.  Here's the link.

Another more economical option is the water skeeter vision. It's from a different online site, that I find to be cheaper most of the time.

Go with the waterskeeter. Its what i use and i love it.
