I want to repaint the stripe on the side of my 12 foot aluminum boat. I started sanding it down today. Does anyone know of a good marine paint product and where I could get it?

Go to Rona, or Lordco and read the paint cans- they should tell you if they will stick to aluminum.  I'd scrub the area you're painting with an abrasive pad to remove the aluminum oxide (dull grey) then paint immediately, as aluminum oxidizes fast.

Go to industrial plastics and ask witch aluminum etchant and paint combo to use. Without an aluminum etchant the paint will not properly stick.

General Paint has Industrial paint that works very well on most metals, I use this for my truck box and winter rims.

This sounds like you are repainting the painted stripe that is already existing.
This means you are putting a coat of paint over a coat of paint and an aluminum primer is not necessary as your not painting bare aluminum.
If the existing paint is sticking well and just faded and beat up,you can just repaint with a marine enamel.
General paint has this in quarts or spray bombs.
Be sure to clean and sand before coating and all should be good.
