Can someone verify if I read that chart right?

You can retain 2 chinook daily possess 4
You can retain 4 chum possess 8
No hatchery coho
No wild coho
Retain 4 pink possess 8
No sockeye

The charts are clear, sorta, but I've misunderstood them before.

Right right, it's not until October that you can't retain hatchery coho.

I think it would be great if the dfo invested in some better technology that essentially augmented Google maps with fishing notices and restrictions. Rather than read and interpret the notices just drop a pin on the location you plan to fish , choose a specific date and have it tell you limits and any specific limitations for that spot.

Given web technologies and their ability to operate on mobile devices it wouldn't cost much plus you could have it be location enabled so that it tells you exactly what the details are when you are at a specific spot.

Please also pay attention to the large Rockfish Conservation Areas (RCAs) in Indian Arm.  I am always seeing people fishing in these areas and claiming they did not know about them.

Agree,  as I'm pretty with it and I find it annoying to navigate and frankly...  It's probably cheaper to risk a fine then read all the updates if your income is above a certain threshold... Notice those of wealth who could care less about the rules... I like how the fines in Switzerland work based on income (should be wealth) But the rules are not for the rich to follow but the general population....
