if your out in the city, brian ford builds a very solid rod, kind of plain and in a certain style that is  his own but very well built none the less. ive also heard excellent things about walter at sea run, apparently he builds some very very nice custom rods...

for out in the valley my buddy oliver of swiftwater guiding probably builds the nicest rod around.
thanks kingpin,
  do you have contact information?

Olivers # 604-852-0744 he builds the nicest looking rods... just have a look at a couple and you will be impressed... it will take a couple weeks from start to finish as he really likes his glues to set before sanding ...

Just because you have a pin rod doesnt mean you know how to fish it.....
