They also have new Citicas, Curados, and Chronarchs

The new G series Curados are now made in Malaysia as opposed to the previous E series being made in Japan

The new E series Chronarchs look to be a rebadged E series Curado...  ::)

Not sure I like what Shimano did to the Chronarch. It does look like the same frame as the Curado.  Not only that, but the price of the Chronarch has dropped by about 150 bucks and the Curado close to a 100. Having said that, I haven't tried the new reels and will save my comments for when I have.

But the old Chronarchs were twice the reel of the Curados in my opinion.  By lowering the prices like they did, they are now out of the 250 to 350 dollar market.  Maybe they should of left the Chronarchs alone and offered different colours and more gear ratios.  You will definitely see alot more Chronarchs and Curados on the water now, and time will tell, if there as good as there predecessors

actually Shimano warranty is one of the better one in town... when a shop called in for a RA#, Shimano Canada will sent Canpar to the location for pick up right away... And that is depended on the availability for the certain products, it might take a little longer but other wise, you will get it back in 5 business day ( they only ship every Tuesday and Friday).  BTW, if you you any of you guys looking for a new reel for Xmas, give the new shimano products a look.. I checked out the entire line of Shimano products at the ICAST show in Vegas a week ago, they are very sweet looking.
