planning to go fishing tomorrow at cheakamus/mamquam river, i have never been there before. wondering if it's any good there for fishing this time of the year? what is the best tackle for that system? and where about are the better spots? thanks a lot!

As for presentation most people will be drifting wool under a float ,and of course you might want to try other things, such as spoons for those cohos. Right now the targeted species is mainly chums and the odd coho.

thanks man.. this helps.
hopefully the weather won't be too bad later this morning.
fresher chums r good enough for me. decent looking coho is a bonus~~

they are selling fresh chum for $1 a pound at the steveson docks. :o

But you don't get the pull of a fish on your line, and feeling of line being peeled off the spool!!!
