Title: Seymour hatchery job position reopens
Post by: Rodney on May 24, 2005, 08:12:34 PM
FYI: http://www.fishingwithrod.com/fishy_news/050420-1.html

The last fella who accepted the position declined it after all as he cannot work on weekends. Please note this position is for some weekends as well. Good luck to those who are interested.

Please submit your resume by Tuesday April 26, 2005. We apologize for the short notice. If you’re concerned that this isn’t enough time for Canada Post to send us your resume, just call us at 604.640.9690 and let us know it’s on its way. Thank you in advance for your considerations.

 too late....

Ignore the date, that's an old posting. This is a position that has been reopened.

Hmm, on the Seymour Salmonoid Society site (the guys that run the hatchery) it says:

"BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Post Secondary Degree in a Natural Resources study"
http://www.seymoursalmon.com/Job%20Posting.htm

Since I'm doing an engineering degree, I don't exactly fit into the Natural Resources category lol.  The posting on this site and the hatchery site are slightly different so not sure which one I should be going by..?

Go for it, you never know. The information found in our news section was provided by the president of the society. This position mainly involves on tasks given from the manager, probably won't involve much when it comes to managing fish stock etc. :)
