Title: Pit River Sept. 25
Post by: The Gilly on September 27, 2004, 09:45:31 AM
Took the wife and kids for a ride in the Grumman on Saturday.  Ripped up Pit lake to check out some cabins and get some wind in our hair.  Chucked the rods out the side for the kids and fished the side bank by Widgeon Slough so my wife could read he book ::)  A few fish on the sounder (mostly in 15' or less), but not as many as spring time.  My 5 yr. old daughter picked up a nice little Dolly (14") on a #4 pink flat fish.  Made her day.  I couldn't take a pic because I never brought the net and my wife was reading her book >:(  We let it go, so it's there waiting for you to catch it.  You'll find it at:

It the one with a piercing in it's lip ;D
