Title: Saltwater Fishing Lower Mainland
Post by: Colersmom on June 03, 2023, 09:38:00 AM
Hi guys,

I was wondering what are good piers to try and catch sole or flounders or just a place to catch fish to be honest.

Thanks!

belcarra pier, ambleside, white rock, barnett marine. I once caught a chinook fry at belcarra pier on shrimp. Aside from that, hooking a starfish and some crabs not much luck. Try to go at High Tide.

Thanks! Would you also mind sharing what type of baits/lures I should use?

Rod did a video years ago about fishing at Garry Point Park at Steveston. It's shore fishing but Rod did well enough for coarse fish. I went a couple of times years ago and the rocks are unbelievably treacherous and slippery.
