Title: Bimini top for Marlon
Post by: Clipped.Adipose on May 19, 2023, 08:37:12 PM
Does anyone have a top for their trout boats? I want to have a shaded area for the kids so they won’t get burnt on sunny days. I’m thinking a Bimini would be the best solution but I don’t ever see anyone with a top so I am not sure

My buddy rigged up a beach umbrella on his Lund. It looked a little ridiculous, but it worked!

There's a ton on Amazon.ca starting around $100 - search for "bimini".

You'll have to figure out how to attach it.

I was out at BassPro the other day looking at some. They had a few boxes of them going for 289 each . I used an umbrella to on my boat too . I plunked in the upright rod holder for years , Nutro Max umbrella lol . Looked goofy but worked best at high noon . That umbrella I used for everything going back to plunking at the Fraser bars . Carried it in the boat for 10 years . Miss that ole sock , holy and all 😁

I recommend a wide brimmed hat, sun screen. How to fly cast with a big top in the way???
