I do not own a Lund but I did instal this mount on my Lowe1040 jon. I had to add a few doubler plates to stiffen up the area before I added the anchor. It holds a 10 pound mushroom anchor now and the bow doesn't flex at all. I ordered some UHMW off Amazon and cut it to size. I mounted a peice of wood to stiffen the whole bow, one UHMW to act as a mount plate for my Scotty mount and another UHMW in the front to act as a receiver plate so my bolts make a straight connection. That should help increase the rigidity of your bow plate

have had one one the bow of my car topper for years with a 12lb anchor. no issues. i used the flush mount. your going to need a drill, hole saw, rivet gun and some stainless rivets.

My son installed a stationary one on the bow and one that will swivel at the stern. This is on a 14 foot Lund. I am having trouble posting pictures from my iPad. We have lost temporary power to my desktop.
They do not come with hardware. I believe you need to drill holes 1/4 in. And 3.5in. Bolts with nuts and
Lock washers (all Marine) if someone could send me their email I could forward photos.
Firstlight, they work great with your 1/2 inch rope

I have some of his rope as well. Will need anchor locks to test it. Did not want to drill a lot of holes in the new boat, but if the boat can't be used properly, no point in having it. This is the third 12' wc I have owned, and I have noticed the alum. bow and corner castings are not near as thick as before. Maybe put a wood or aluminum plate under will add strength.

Thank you and glad you guys like the ropes.

I helped install a Scotty mount in a buddy's 12ft Lund.

It was mounted to the wall of the boat just under the lip rather than the cast metal cap on the bow.
It is not perfect as it hangs at a slight angle - which could probably be prevented by using a triangle piece of wood.
I used white cutting board on my Flyfisher - I would recommend trying something like that as it won't rot.

I'll see if I can get a pic from him on how it is installed.

I never thought of that .Great idea and just might go that route myself.
Thanks.
