Title: Chilliwack River, October 8th 2019
Post by: Rodney on October 08, 2019, 03:04:39 PM
Popped out briefly around 10am, hoping to get my dad into some fish. River condition improved pretty fast overnight. The low temperature and lack of heavy rain helped speeding things up. The run where we fish was still a bit on the high side so lots of coho salmon were making their way up close to shore. We could see them rolling on the surface frequently. I managed to release a wild fish around 8lb. My dad missed three solid float downs before I had to take off to Victoria. Fishing should be excellent in the next few days.
