Title: Chilliwack River, October 4th 2019
Post by: Rodney on October 04, 2019, 08:07:19 PM
After a solid hour of fishing yesterday, Nina and I convinced my parents to babysit again and snuck out for another session around lunch. We started at 11:30am this time and it was pretty slow for awhile. I was becoming doubtful that we would see a repeat of yesterday but then the odd little bites started to happen. The little bites eventually turned into straight float downs and by 1:30pm they were pretty frequent. Pautzke Bait's Fire cured roe from two years ago worked again. By 2:30pm we had our limits and packed up. Fishery officers were out checking. I had a brief chat with Derek about non-compliance. He said overall it has been good beside a couple of trouble spots where snagging have taken place. Where we fished, although it got somewhat busy, everyone was fishing correctly and having a great time.
