Title: Tunkwa Lake, September 9th - 11th 2019
Post by: Rodney on September 17, 2019, 12:28:58 AM
I spent a couple of days at Tunkwa last week. Fish were all feeding in the shallows close to weedbeds, in 5 to 10 feet of water, sometimes less. First day the action was non stop, either casting and stripping leeches from an anchored boat in 10 feet of water, casting into the weeds. Second day, there were just as many fish jumping and rolling, but the bite was off, only had two fish on. The average size of fish this year is a lot bigger than previous years, looking forward to going back for the ice fishery this winter!
