Went to the lower river late morning. Walked quite a bit and from what I saw the river is mostly empty of fish and low. Found one spot holding some fish. Saw quite a few pinks (hooked two that were released); hooked and landed a chrome spring (looked a bit marbled) close to 20 lbs. Didn't see any coho. A handful of fishers were on the river, with more showing up later in the afternoon. I would say it is tough fishing right now; need rain.
