While we were in Kyuquot a month ago, we filmed this conversation with Marilyn Murphy. Marilyn and her brother Dave run Murphy Sportfishing which operates in Kyuquot during the summer and Port Alberni in the fall and winter. In this video, Marilyn talks about the relationship they have with the local First Nations both at the professional and personal level, the collaborative work through a round table dialogue process to achieve sustainability. It is a model that the Lower Fraser groups are hoping to replicate one day.

Does she also go by Marilyn Scanlan?, If so I have heard her talk on many web meetings. calls ect.. She is a bull and fights hard for the sportfishing industry,
