Title: Kyuquot Sound, July 6th - 9th 2019
Post by: Rodney on August 04, 2019, 10:14:23 AM
Here are some photos from our Kyuquot Sound trip with Murphy Sportfishing back a month ago. The chinook salmon fishing was excellent close to shore. We actually didn't get our fish by trolling this time, but we went with the spinning outfits and jigged a tiny 15g Gibbs Minnow in 40ft of water. Average size is definitely much bigger than last year, all in the 18 to 22lb range.

The halibut and lingcod fishing was fast too once we were 15 miles offshore. Gibbs Power Paddles did the trick.
