We did this trip last July, departed from Abbotsford and were within 30 minute flight to these areas. :)

That exciting day in our backyard looked like another planet. Kinds like the first movie of the Planet of the Apes with Charlton Heston. Nature at it's best & so clear water in the glacier lake.
Psychiatrists should send depressed patients on this heli tour. Cured in one trip/session.
Like how Kitty planted a good hint on a future try to land a bull trout. Hint hint hint with smile....
Well it 's a win win as surely this exposure will give him future customers. Vid to word of mouth & his phone is ringing off the hook.
Amazing vid. Most of us will never get the chance to go on this tour but in a way feel that we partly did experience it.

I don't know the name of the lake actually, never asked. Didn't bother since I doubt I'll ever hike all the way up there. ;D

I googled the prices and unless I win the lottery I won’t be able to afford the heli trip. Out of reach for the common folk such as myself. Was fun to watch.

Like I said I may be wrong. I compare the pictures I have and it looks the same. The Bulls would indicate that lake is tied to a much larger system currently and that was once linked to a greater drainage like the Fraser Pitt or Lillooet in the past.

Actually have not a clue what the name of the lake . Has fish ...Fish Lk. quite wet & cold water...WetCold Lk.
Called it Secret Lk. because maybe Rodney really knows it's name.......maybe or maybe not he's leading us off the trail... ;)

I honestly dont care to know the truth. All I know is it was a hike of all hikes with a boat trip up a scetchy Stave laketo get to Winslow lake. We bagged two deer and had to walk all the way back with the deer and camping supplies. I'll probably never do it again and certainly not to fish.

It’s a lake with fish in it, I was flown up there and didn’t bother asking the name of it because it’s not important to me. Email the pilot if you’re that interested.

Hike & fish ...that was quite the adventure. 1x is enough.

And yesterday was Valentine's Day so sure would not want to spoil your feelings for Nina & Nina for you.

Was there not a place in Steveston that was a favourite spot ya fished that had your name?

This thread reminds me of a "secret lake" that one of my friends took me to growing up. It was not uncommon to catch 4-5 pound trout there. I caught a 5 pound trout on a dry fly sedge their. epic experience took it off the surface right as the sun was setting
anyways, his dad used to take us up there to lake on on the way there he would cut down all the forest service signs saying how to get to the lake.
I have not fished the lake in years but herd it when to cupcakes when it got hit with pine beetle and the completely clear cut around the lake.
found out later the lake was called Dardanelles Lake

Thought we'd create a soap opera moment to detour our minds from all the bad weather & bad shocking news stories across Canada.
What a rat race we live in.
Yes it's a fake spat like WWE wrestling. ( pre plan the winner & loser )

Seriously there are so many gem lakes in BC & streams some named & others not named that contain so many nice sports fish.
Been to more than one big lake where ya cannot keep them off your hook & one lake that comes to mind about the size of Como Lk in Coquitlam in the Caribou region that also had trees fallen into it's edges...was so packed with various fish species & big/small...water was clear & ya could see them swimming like a school of fish....lots of big coarse fish too. Again fish hitting one's presentation ..
Well time to submarine ...over my post quote. Better disappear for a few days & let yous run with the baton for awhile.

Well as the story goes ..was a big time smoker back in the 60s / early 70s.
Our circle smoked rolled joints at times the size of cigars. Cough cough cough...hard to hold in smoke.
But shared pot is no longer part of my lifestyle. Tried it again back in latter 80s think it was only because the other guy had some & talked me into smoking up that day.
Since then zero smoking.
But as you can see by fish & hike post before your post he claims I smoke too much reefer ( like in nowadays )
This tells me the opposite is true. It is he who smokes too much weed that he forgot the fact the last time I smoked up was many moons ago. ;D
But ya go ahead & smoke up if ya want to...no skin off my nose ( old saying ;D )

Well all I responded was he must be the one who smokes too much.
He must of forgot I told him "me no smoke pot no more. & have not for yrs"

The "love chapter" in the New Test. is where it's as real as it gets. Saying that I like everyone yes every member on this site. Even the ones who totally ignore me & maybe think I'm nuts. ;)
Side note.....is the weather around the LML ever going to warm up ???
For the next 7 days it's around zero / 4 C.
Snow / rain mix tomorrow....a little uncomfortable to cast a line or go for a peddle biking.
