Title: Islander spindle screw, any cheaper alternatives?
Post by: MetalAndFeathers on January 17, 2019, 06:37:01 PM: So I lost the small screw that holds my islander together and found that islander is charging 30+ tax and shipping for a replacement. Has anyone found a cheaper alternative to the stock screw that works? If not I guess I'll have to succumb to my mistakes and pay the price.

I think it’s a metric screw your looking for. They won’t sell direct to the public but they will to plumbing, electrical , Hvac companies / tradesmen if you know someone.

I wouldn't go cheap on any o'l screw to fix your reel could really screw it up further and not operate properly
