It went 4 rounds & surprise surprise it was a great hard fought event. Connor got in some good punches & kicks & Khabib even stood toe to toe in a round & traded punches.
Even knocked Connor down with a punch. But it was the wrestling style that tired Connor which led to a submission. Khabib is the real deal.
But the after match happenings will cost Khabib dearly. Fines etc... Brawl.
The pressure built up like a pressure cooker as there is what Connor did throwing object at a bus window...months ago ...plus....
The insults to country & to family etc... Connor really is mouthy. Part of psy out his opponent I guess.
It got personal & so it created lots of heat. Connor was looking for a knock down punch but it did not happen this time.
