As some of you may have heard, Chris is getting an award for being a "community achiver" and he's a regular on this site. Well done Chris!

Congratulations Chris on the well deserved honour.
And I may add... that is one impressive beard you are sporting.
For an avid outdoorsmen as yourself, I can see a number of advantages:
*no need for a duck blind
*habitat for small birds
*less chance of getting crumbs from lunch on the bib of your waders
*ready source of snacks (see above)
*readily accessible fly tying materials
*no need to wear a scarf on cold days

Well done!
Tidy people try to keep a clean & tidy house & our outdoors should be the same.
People who go out & pollute or litter have no respect for themselves or others.
A few times been with somebody & they just threw their food wrapper or orange peels on the sidewalk or parking lot. A just get the thought "Why?"

Congrats Chris.

Of course all those that volunteered on these river cleanups over the last number years are part of this award as well. Thanks to all for the kind comments.
Hope to see some of you at the next Chilliwack Vedder River Cleanup Societies cleanup on April 21. Check out their FB and web site for more details.
