Title: Chilliwack/Vedder September 23
Post by: Shmoke Shaman on September 24, 2017, 10:44:54 AM
A friend was boasting pictures of 20 lbs springs. Went out yesterday looking. Guess I went to the wrong spots because all I saw were Pinks. Tons of people up and down KWB. I assume the springs have made it up river. Hopefully I get a chance to fish next weekend but this time I will go up river.

I found a hatchery coho upriver but no springs - my step-brother got a spring jack.  Both on roe.  And then we hooked a few pinks as well.  Netted a decent-looking 12-13lb spring for another angler, saw some darker fish caught, saw some other fish lost.  I'm glad for your report as I feel like I didn't miss out on anything by going upriver.  I'm still hoping some rain will move into the forecast before next weekend.
