Title: Fishing Coquitlam River
Post by: hmike on September 22, 2016, 02:29:57 PM
Yesterday, I saw 1 guy fishing on Coquitlam river. Just below the bridge. It seemed he had a fish on, but since I was riding a bike, I didn't get a closer look. I was wondering, since salmon fishing is closed (with some exceptions), if Coquitlam river is open.

From the link above.  It's easy to find this stuff online you just need to know that DFO's website has this in the Freshwater section.

Coquitlam River
Coho           Sep 01-Dec 31   1 hatchery marked fish per day.
Chinook   Jan 01-Aug 31   No fishing for chinook.
                Sep 01-Dec 31   1 per day.
