Title: Baked salmon fillets
Post by: Dude on November 15, 2015, 07:06:52 AM
I have made this recipe up for spring salmon but I think this will work with any salmon none the less. One thing to note is after washing the fillets pat dry them with a paper towel then put them in a pan with foil.

1. Salt and pepper on fillet.
2. Italian  and Italiano spice to your liking.
3. Olive oil , melted butter and minced garlic, little lemon juice  mixed together in a bowl pour it over the fillets evenly.
4. Cut up little bit of cilantro and sprinkle it on top of fillets.
5. Cut up some Lemon slices and put couple on each fillet.
6. Cover the top with foil as well and place in  Oven at 350 degree fahernite   I usually keep checking every 5 minutes until it has cooked in the thickest part of the meat usually when it's flakey. Usually only takes about 20 mins.
7. When the fish is 90% cooked I take off the foil cover and put a nice layer of mayo  on top of the fillets and put it back in  the oven on broil at 500 degrees fahernite lightly brown up the mayo and fillet. It only takes 2-3 minutes so don't walk away.

Let me know if anyone tries it out.

Cheers
