Title: Grouse Hunting Is Excellent
Post by: chris gadsden on October 01, 2015, 03:37:53 PM
My cousin and I had a good opening once again, now for a deer, have seen some bucks before the any buck opening that started today. Bagged a nice willow for supper at dusk last night in "Gold Country".

That drought we had was sure good for the grouse, saw so many birds back in August around 100 Mile. Good luck with the deer Chris.

No luck with the deer saw lots of does of course but could have bagged a spike but passed on it as too early on the trip.

Shoot a picture instead.

Saw some great parts of the province and brought home some more blues, big ones too.

Yeah lots of grouse around. ;D Way more fun shooting grouse than fighting with million fisherman at Vedder.

So true, the Thompson and beyond are so beautiful this time of year. Went to the Gang Rach area too, except for a sudden rain storm that made the back roads as slippery as ice.
