Title: Cooking Whitefish

 Has anyone here ever cooked lake White fish?I see them for sale in the stores.Have not found any online recipes for them.I catch and release quite a few routinely.Just curious.

I do not cook them like one would cook a salmon or trout. I bake one once in a while to eat and share with my cats as they love it.

99% of the whitefish  I keep, I smoke in my 'little chief' smoker.  They just to me taste really great smoked.

I never ever bought one from the store although lots there.
