Title: Trout Spinning Rod
Post by: typhoon on April 02, 2015, 12:29:26 PM
This is a rod for my brother's wife for stillwater trout fishing around Kamloops.
Build is based on Mudhole MHx 7' med-lt 4-8lb blank with minima guides.

Absolutely gorgeous typhoon :)  As I said in another post, you have missed your calling ...

Killer thread work!! I wish I had the patience, dexterity and the eyes  ::)  for that.
Love those areo seats, just finished a noodle rod with one but I used the hood that the foregrip covers the locking threads.
Do you make your own labels or send out for them?

Thanks. I make my own decals using clear waterslide paper.
I use the Aero seat with both hood types and don't have a strong preference.
