Title: Convert Trigger rod to mooching?

Hello Everyone,

I got a new gloomis baitcaster rod as a gift, is it possible change the reel seat, or am I better off getting a different rod for center pinning?

Hi VA7DDP

 It is possible.  As in the other thread I have the Lamiglass and I am now in the process of changing the handle and reel seat.  I have the blank stripped down will add the new cork and reel seat soon.  It can be done but it does take time and patience.  I am enjoying the process.  If you don't have much time I would say leave the rod as is and buy another one for center pinning.
