Tossing spoons finally paid off, caught and released a beautiful wild coho, lost another and then got a nice hatchery 23" my first, only fished for an hour, hope it keeps up. Water clarity was about 2ft.

I'm trying to learn how to fish for salmon with spoons as well, and just started this week. I was also out earlier today tossing spoons but was unsuccessful after about 1.5 hours. Water clarity was less than 1 foot on the lower Fraser (south arm) in Delta.

I was in the lower Fraser near Alex Fraser, been out quite a bit in my kayak.
