Hi, My friend gave me 500 yds of 150lb Power Pro braid. What can I do with that ? Bar fishing for spring ?

STURGEON!!
You need a heavy rod and reel to go with it though.
That is around $80-$100 worth of line.
-
Downriggers. Make sure it not counterfit.

go fly a kite?

Put massive hook on it and pull all the braid line from the Fraser! You will make fortune on all leaders, hooks and bettys you will pull out!

Isn't that the truth...this past Saturday I just about half filled a plastic shopping bag with discarded line, including lead weights and other terminal tackle from the narrow sand beach at Island #22 Bar........who are these pigs that just dump their crap all over ? >:(

Use if for backing on all your reels. I rarely use the bottom 1/2 to 2/3 of the line on my reels, so I just keep replacing to top half and tying it off to the backing that stays permanently on there. Much cheaper when if comes to changing the line out

Throw it out and use something that gives a fish a fair chance...

You might be able to use it for trailer hook material on flies.
