Posting for an angler who unfortunately lost his boat yesterday on the Vedder.
"My river raft was stolen from me yesterday on the Vedder river. It floated off as the river spiked and as I chased it down one bank, two guys pulled it out on the other bank, loaded it in their truck and took off. It ended up getting grabbed at the Hopedale train bridge on the Vedder. The incident occurred at between 2:30pm and 3:00pm. It's a 12' Saturn inflatable raft with a fishcat ir9 rowing frame mounted on it. It had my Spey rod and a single handed 8 weight rod in it as well as a black arcteryx jacket and red pfd. A witness reported seeing two guys load it in the back of a silver pickup. One of them was driving an older motor home that looked like it had been repainted white."
