Heading to the interior this weekend for me and my Bro's yearly fishing trip. Since getting him really hooked on fly fishing he's been wanting to wrestle with a larger fish. Going to be based at Face lake ( Mile High resort) while the fishing is great the fish aren't exactly trophy sized. I'd like to take my brother somewhere where we have a good chance of getting a trout in the 3-5 pound range on the line. Any suggestions of close by lakes that we could look at with the belly boats? PM me if you don't want to share with the whole world ;-)

went well, just saved a map on my phone and used the gps to bushwhack to some smaller out of the way water. Did get my Bro into a 26" bow, I didn't have any luck with the big ones but i made up for it in number's ;). Pretty much everything caught on red bead thorax soft hackle nymph that i threw together after a handful of beers. good times.
