I'll be there, but in the afternoon to the evening.  Usually the bite is on early morning or late afternoon to evening.

I was meaning to ask about that!  There were so many posts about guys fishing at 4:30 am I wondered if all thier clocks were wrong. :D Seriously are most of the guys fishing that early to avoid the crowds or is that the most productive time?  I would think that it shouldn't matter a whole heck of a lot if the fish are moving but what do I know.  I would assume that if twilight conditions are best that early evening wouldn't be too bad either.  One other thing are lures taking any fish or is it all roe action.  Thanks guys.

And continuing the thread of questions....if High Tide is like 1PM tomorrow, shouldn't fishing be better around 2ish?

But but... Keep in mind the afternoon high tide's height is not that significant. ;D

The early morning high tide however, has a way bigger rise, and coinciding that with a possible high discharge due to rainfall, you may just be into a few schools of fish at 4:30am. ;D

The upper river is definitely also tide dependent. I pretty much fish the upper all the time and it's not unusual to see schools of fish being pushed up a couple hours after the tide peaks at the mouth.

First light is definitely ideal. The bite will go on until 8am if the fish are there. :)

Best bite is definitely at first light on this river as Rod has mentioned. If you want to catch your fish and not perhaps wait All day for a school to come in. Then go to bed a little earlier, catch your fish. Home by noon.

I know quite a few guys who fish early in the morning before going to work. They are usually concentrated at the lower end.

From my experience, there is not such thing as "good bite time" in the Cap. It seems so erratic... >:(

Yopesco is right, sometimes the fish bite at first light and some times they bite later.  I've caught coho's on the cap in the early morning, afternoon, and evening.  It depends if the fish are there and if they're there and their active you should get into a few.
