Where would you fly fish on Cap?  Cable Car or next to the ocean?  Local shops seem to push a certain style of fly for Salmon - I don't know what they call them, but they are in green or red, and not wolly.

What works? Where on Cap?  When?

Most of the flyfishermen on the Capilano fish the Cable Pool with woolly buggers.

Thanks Assasin,

I am a fly fishing newbie, and went to cable pool once (at 4:30 AM).  It is a zooo, and no one caught anything (about a week ago).

Try to get down to some of the lower rocks if you can, there is a bit more room for casting if you are able to "side cast."

Just BE CAREFUL, the rocks can be quite slippery.

Also, make that another vote for a wooly bugger.
