Ok so I order my lefty kingfisher, 1 1/2months later I get my right hand beauty reel. I cant afford to waste coho season waiting for a new left reel.
Please share any drawbacks of using this backwards setup. And the bloody clicker will be on the front now. How badly will this LITTLE knob affect my free spool.
I am just lost I cant keep uing my Okuma not that its a bad reel but Im was just so looking forward to my dream reel.
Untangling my new birdsnest on a log jam,
Mike

any reason not to use it as is, it's all muscle memory. Only take a few times and you'll have backwards going forwards? ;)

There is no difference is using a kingfisher setup either way except for where the knob will be. I have a right handed kingfisher that I use left handed and actually prefer the knob in the front. I'd say go fish it.

I use a lefty as a righty and prefer the clicker up front like BNF861 ! :)

I also use a right handed reel left handed and I actually prefer it in the front. X3 on the go fish.

Awesome you dont know the dispair I felt when I saw the box today. I know I ordered a left reel, guess John is getting old or I gotta lay off the medication.
Thanks for the calming guys, and hopefully she will be a good on the river as she looks

x3 Use my KF that way and it works really well for me.
